Benefitting The Actor’s Fund
Hold My Spot, a story about three creatives looking to make a splash in the filmmaking world in 1950s America: Sarah, the headstrong leader with large ambitions; Barrows, her best friend and closest associate who also happens to be an African American; and Robert, the money man of the group. When they find a script about the life of an African-American man rising to fame, racial tensions, gender politics, and the taxing nature of filmmaking prove to make this dream a lot harder than expected.
