We are now accepting applications for our 2016 season!

Intern Program

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity interns are an integral part of our team. They have the opportunity to assist and learn about every aspect of theatre festival management — and all through the lens of our eco-friendly and community-oriented ethos.

We offer tickets to all Planet Connections productions. In addition, with the help and mentorship of the Festivity staff, the interns put on a show of their own.   Several of our interns have gone on to perform, design or direct in productions with our affiliated indie theater companies on the following season.

Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, dedicated workers with an interest in pursuing a career in theater. We are looking for people who are detail-oriented, independent, and able to multi-task.  In order to take full advantage of the internship, candidates should reside in NYC from May 1rst-August 9th. However, some exceptions have been made on a case by case basis. Please include any time conflicts on your application.

To apply, please send a cover letter and resume to planetrobrep@gmail.com with the description for the desired department. We accept interns in Acting, Design, and Stage Management. Besides indicating which team interests you, please also include in the subject line,  the following format: “Intern Application for [season applying for- ex: 2016 season]”

You may apply for multiple Internships, but please tailor your cover letters to fit each position. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
