O Rumbles of Joy!
Benefiting: Heifer International
Produced by Small Theater Thrives
Written by Robin Rice Lichtig
Directed by Marcina Zaccaria
“Oh Rumbles of Joy!’ looks at the intersection of Spirit and Thought through the point of view of a sculptor. Throughout the play, a moving sculpture is created by the slow movements of Thoughts and Spirit within marble. The play asks: What is the process of the artist in creation? Audience members can easily empathize with the main character while enjoying the critique and perspective of the chorus members.”
Genre: Dance Theater, Performance Art, Poetry
