Lauren Arneson (ATD) has been a professional stage manager since 2004, and has done some sound design in that time as well. Lauren has been doing festivals since time began and lost count of the number of anything that has happened. Lauren loves cookies but hates coffee, hazelnut and coconut.  She has worked with  (or participated in) lots of festivals including SummerStage Theater, FRIGID New York, The Asian-American Theater Festival, Oscarpalooza, FringeNYC, EstroGenius, Minnesota Fringe, NYMF, Spontaneous Combustion, HOWL!, and Planet Connections. Lauren’s interest in volunteering, community service and charity work started in kindergarten when she joined Daisies and Girl Scouts continued into high school. By the time she was in third grade, Lauren had started donating some of her birthday money to the ASPCA. In eighth grade, her editorial piece about banned books was featured on the front page of the school paper. She was the stage manager and a member of the steering committee for V-Day Brooklyn 2006 and has been an active organizer with V-Day ever since. A long time supporter of her LGBT friends, Lauren attended the National Equality March in Washington, D.C. and has been a volunteer with Marriage Equality New York where she helped coordinate trips to Albany to lobby the senate and their annual Wedding March across the Brooklyn Bridge. In 2011, she was the stage manager for a Planet Connections reading, Inversion of the Baby Snatchers which benefited Art for Change. Lauren has been PCTF tech staff since December 2011 and is currently the stage manager for Girl Be Heard and Temerity Theatre. Seasonally, Lauren works at Nightmare haunted house.
