With humor and pathos, STANLEY’S WORLD by Alexandra Klausner, is a one-act play that explores death and its affect on a little boy and his mother. Stanley’s world is turned upside down when father dies. He believes he is a visitor from another planet made entirely of Jelly Beans. Stanley’s new alien identity confronts a number of characters in New York City, some of whom could be from another planet themselves.
Funding for “Stanley’s World” is made possible by the Stephanie Mnookin Creative Project Grant from Phil Soltanoff and Skidmore College.
